It is easy to see why the Elzetta A113 is our best-selling Alpha Series Flashlight.
The Elzetta A113 uses our Standard Bezel Ring for a smooth snag-free profile that slips easily in and out of pockets, pouches, and bags.  The standard optical lens uses the phenomenon of total internal reflection (TIR) to project a soft-edge beam of neutral-tint light with a good balance of throw and spill.  With all of these features plus Elzetta’s legendary reliability and durability, the Elzetta A113 is the ultimate tactical flashlight for every day carry (EDC).  Power is supplied by a single CR123A battery (included) or a single IMR RCR123 cell.
When using a high drain IMR RCR123 cell, the High-Low Tailcap unleashes a 10-second burst of 800 lumens before the output is subtly tapered down over a period of about 30 seconds, then regulated to a constant 535 lumens in High Mode (Tailcap screwed on fully clockwise). This subtle tapering is designed intentionally, so as to not distract the user with a sudden drop in luminosity during critical operations. The burst mode resets every time the power is cycled off and back on again, so the burst mode can be more easily perceived after the light has been on for at least 20-30 seconds, then cycled off and back on again.
Low Mode (unscrew the Tailcap anywhere from a few degrees to 1/4 turn) offers an ample 50 lumens for most common uses. See our blog post on User Interface for a demonstration of this unique system.
When using a primary CR123 cell as fuel, the A113 will produce a 10-second burst of 535 lumens, then regulate down to a constant 435 lumens.
A high frequency strobe is now fully integrated into the head and can be activated by double-tapping the switch. Simply cycle the light off to disengage the strobe function.
NOTE: There is no “High/Strobe” tailcap for Alpha Gen3! Strobe mode is integrated into the head and is activated with a simple double-click of the switch on ANY tailcap. DO NOT USE ALPHA GEN2 “HIGH/LOW” OR “HIGH/STROBE” WITH ALPHA GEN3! IT WILL DESTROY THE GEN2 TAILCAPS!

Model B133 features the Elzetta High Output AVS Head with an ultra-convenient High-Low Tailcap.  The push-button controls on/off while rotation of the Tailcap selects the mode.  Screw the Tailcap all the way on for full output or loosen it a bit (anywhere from a few degrees to 1/4 turn) and low-mode is engaged.  The mode may be selected whether the Light is on or off.  (See a demonstration of this unique and intuitive user interface in our blog post on User Interface.)
850 lumens are steadily discharged in ‘High’ with a reasonable 25 lumens available in ‘Low’.  The standard 7/8-inch thick optical lens provides amazing beam quality and scoffs at abuse that would shatter any cover-lens found on a reflector-based flashlight.  Two CR123A batteries (included) provide 1.5 hours of runtime.  Fully potted electronics, a critical feature almost never found on flashlights produced by other manufacturers, seal circuit boards and solder joints and lock them in place for over-the-top durability.  Built exceptionally well in America.  Guaranteed without exception.
